Because the home is a fixer-upper, the paint on the outside likely doesn't look well at all. If not, you should paint it. This will not only save you a lot of time, but you will know the home will look great when the painter is finished.

You first need to choose the color. Drive around and look at the other homes in your neighborhood. You can then decide if you want your home to blend in or stand out. All of this is completely up to you. For example, if many of the homes are tan, brown, or white, you could choose these colors. You could also choose much brighter colors, such as green, blue, etc. This will not only give your home character but also get it noticed by everyone in the neighborhood.

2. Landscaping
